The ingredients needed to make Stroganoff:
  1. Get 1 lb chopped ribeye
  2. Prepare 1/2 cup diced mushroom

  7. Take 1/2-2/3 cup sour cream

  1. Throw some oil in a skillet. Let it get hot. Add chopped ribeye and cook until almost done. Remove from heat and set aside.
  2. In pot, boil generous amount of salted water. Add noodles and cook while finished the stroganoff.
  3. In same pan, add butter, mushrooms, and onions. Cook until almost done.
  4. Add broth and flour. Whisk until combined. Let simmer for a few minutes Until thickensd.
  5. Add sour cream.
  6. Add beef. Cook for 2-3 additional minutes insuring meat has cooked through.
  7. Drain noodles once cooked, add to pan. Mix and serve. Or you can serve over noodles.

Remove the steak from the pan. Add the onion slices and mushrooms to the pan drippings. Sauté for a few minutes, until the onion is tender. This version maintains all the classic flavors of the traditional dish, combining lean beef and onions with a creamy sauce made of a roux, beef broth, and sour cream.
